Welcome to Top Spec Window Cleaning Ltd. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By engaging with our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "The Company" refers to Top Spec Window Cleaning Ltd, located at 25 Hundens Lane, Darlington, England, DL1 1JL.
- "The Client" refers to the individual, company, or entity receiving services from The Company.
- "Service" refers to any window cleaning, gutter cleaning, facade cleaning, or related services provided by The Company.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions and any written quotation or service agreement.
2. Services & Quotations
2.1 Quotations: All quotations provided by Top Spec Window Cleaning Ltd are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the information provided by the Client and may be subject to revision if the actual scope of work differs significantly.
2.2 Standard Inclusions: Unless otherwise specified in a written quotation, our window cleaning services typically include the cleaning of glass panes, frames, and sills accessible from the ground or using standard extension poles. Gutter and facade cleaning specifics will be detailed in the individual quote.
2.3 Exclusions: Our standard services do not include the removal of hard water stains, paint, silicone, or other stubborn marks unless explicitly agreed upon and quoted separately. Specialized cleaning of leaded windows or windows with decorative film may also incur additional charges.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Accepted Methods: We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card, and direct debit (for regular clients). Details for payment will be provided on your invoice.
3.2 Payment Due Date: Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the service, or within 7 days of the invoice date for commercial accounts, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For recurring services, payment schedules will be outlined in your service agreement.
3.3 Late Payments: In the event of late payment, The Company reserves the right to charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, compounded daily, on the overdue balance until paid in full. Any costs incurred by The Company in the collection of overdue payments will be added to the outstanding balance.
4. Cancellations & Access
4.1 Client Cancellations: Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule a booked service. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the booked service cost.
4.2 Company Cancellations: Top Spec Window Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to adverse weather conditions (e.g., high winds, heavy rain, freezing temperatures) or unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavor to provide as much notice as possible and reschedule at the earliest convenience without additional charge.
4.3 Access: It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that adequate access to the property and windows (e.g., unlocked gates, clear window sills, restrained pets) is provided at the agreed-upon service time. If access is denied or unsuitable, leading to an inability to complete the service, a call-out fee may be charged.
